Hearing Test or Difficulty

What to expect when you arrive
No. You can book directly online or by calling 020 3011 1280. No GP referral is required for any of our services including hearing assessments, tinnitus consultations, APD assessments, and ear wax removal.
For a hearing assessment: nothing specific is required. For ear wax removal: if you have been using ear drops, bring them so we can see what you have been using. If you wear hearing aids, bring them. For an APD or tinnitus assessment: bring any previous audiological reports or any previous clinical letters. They are not essential but they help.
Ear wax removal takes 20 to 30 minutes. The Brain-Based Hearing Assessment takes 60 to 90 minutes. The NeuroQuiet Tinnitus Consultation takes approximately 60 minutes. The APD Assessment takes 2 to 3 hours. All appointments include results and a written report on the same day.
Both clinics are in central London with on-street parking on surrounding roads. For Harley Street: the nearest NCP car park is on Cavendish Square (5 minutes walk). For Wigmore Street: on-street parking is available on Wigmore Street and adjacent roads. Both locations are most easily reached by tube.
Our Wigmore Street clinic is on the first floor, reached by two flights of stairs, and the building does not have a lift. If stairs are difficult for you, please do not let that put you off. We would be glad to see you in the comfort of your own home through our home visit service, where every assessment and treatment we offer in clinic is available to you. Just let us know your needs when you book on 020 3011 1280 and we will arrange everything so your appointment is comfortable and straightforward.
