Rexton hearing aids are known for strong speech-in-noise performance from serious engineering. We fit the full range of Rexton hearing devices independently, with complete aftercare. This guide covers the latest models, including the Reach range, how the multi-track technology works, and the part no manufacturer will tell you: a Rexton hearing aid is only stage one. It cleans and amplifies sound so your brain can detect speech; teaching your brain to decode it is stage two, the work of our Brain-Based Hearing Programme™.
Are Rexton hearing aids good? At what a device does, genuinely yes. Rexton, made by WS Audiology, built its name on multi-track processing that separates speech from noise and lifts the voices you want for your brain to detect.
And here is the part that matters most: separating and boosting the speech is still only detection. A damaged cochlea has changed the firing patterns the brain reads, so however cleanly Rexton boosts the speech, it can arrive scrambled. Clearer, but not yet decoded.
Rexton separates and boosts the voice you want so your brain can detect speech, which the technology does well.
The auditory processing protocol sessions in our Brain-Based Hearing Programme™ teach your brain to decode the speech it can now detect.
Below are the Rexton hearing aid models we fit today, led by the Reach range, with the established BiCore platform still available, each doing the detection inside the same two-stage approach.
Rexton's flagship, on WS Audiology's IX platform. The Reach R-Li T is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal device whose multi-track processing separates speech from noise for your brain to detect. The boosted signal still travels through a damaged cochlea, where changed neural firing patterns can scramble the speech before it reaches the brain. Once Rexton helps your brain detect the speech, the auditory processing protocol sessions in our Brain-Based Hearing Programme™ teach your brain to decode it correctly. That is how the Brain-Based Hearing Programme™ with Rexton works.
A rechargeable completely-in-canal device you can wear the same day, using soft instant-fit sleeves rather than a custom mould, which Rexton markets as nearly invisible. It places a discreet signal at the ear the programme then trains your brain to read.
The previous flagship, on the AX platform and still widely fitted, spanning RIC, slim RIC, a rugged power BTE and custom styles. It does the detection well, inside the same two-stage approach.
Rexton offers the full spread of styles, rechargeable across the Reach line and matched to your ears and how visible you want. One distinction worth knowing: the ready-to-wear inoX-CIC is a nearly-invisible completely-in-canal device, while a fully custom, truly invisible-in-canal (IIC) fit comes from Reach Custom.
The Reach and BiCore families: slim rechargeable devices with a discreet receiver in the canal.

Read moreRexton's technologies serve one aim: getting the cleanest, best-separated signal to your brain, the brand's strength and only half the job.
Rexton's multi-track processing handles speech and noise on separate streams, RealTime Conversation Enhancement tracks the voices around you, and Speech Preservation keeps speech detail clear. Each sends clearer speech toward the brain, but clearer input is not the brain interpreting it, which is stage two's job.
Rexton is durable, with Lifeproof microphones and an IP67 rating: water-resistant, not waterproof, fine for sweat and rain but not swimming. Durability keeps stage one performing; decoding is still stage two.
Rexton's Reach is built on the same WS Audiology IX platform technology as Signia, including Own Voice Processing, under Rexton branding. It offers Bluetooth streaming, is Auracast-ready, and can be adjusted in the Rexton App or fine-tuned remotely; most models power down on the charger or in the app. All of this improves the signal; none of it decodes it.
Two people fitted with the same Rexton device can have completely different experiences, because the brain reading the signal is where understanding is won or lost.
Once your Rexton device is detecting speech, the auditory processing protocol sessions in our Brain-Based Hearing Programme™ retrain your brain to decode the signal it now receives. It draws on neuroplasticity, with real-ear measurement and follow-up. This is the half a device on its own simply does not include.
Stage one gets the speech to your brain; stage two teaches it to understand. Success needs both, which is why we never sell a device as complete hearing care alone.
Who fits your Rexton hearing aids matters as much as the device. We are independent, not owned by any manufacturer, so our recommendation sits with you. Our audiologists hold an MSc in Audiology and are registered with the HCPC.
Real-ear measurement is standard, with ongoing aftercare and remote fine-tuning, not a one-off handover. Every fitting of Rexton hearing devices begins our two-stage approach, the device to detect and the programme to decode.
Yes, particularly for speech in noise. At what a device is meant to do, Rexton's multi-track processing is genuinely strong: that is stage one, detection. What no device can do alone is teach your brain to decode that speech, which is the work of our Brain-Based Hearing Programme™.
Not waterproof, but water-resistant. The Reach range carries an IP67 rating, meaning strong resistance to dust and brief moisture, so sweat and rain are fine. They should not be submerged or worn swimming.
Rechargeable Rexton models power down when you place them in their charging case. You can also switch them off in the Rexton App, or by holding the button on non-rechargeable models. Our short how-to guide walks through each method.
They are sister brands, both made by WS Audiology. Rexton's Reach runs the same IX platform technology as Signia under Rexton branding. They are not identical, but the engineering pedigree is the same. Either way, the device is stage one and the decoding is stage two.
This is the heart of it. A Rexton device gets a clean signal to your brain, but a damaged cochlea has changed the firing patterns your brain reads, so clearer is not the same as understood. The Brain-Based Hearing Programme™ is what teaches your brain to decode that signal correctly. The device is stage one; the programme is stage two; the result depends on both.
A Brain-Based Assessment looks at both your ears and how your brain processes sound, so the right Rexton model and style answers itself. Book online, call us, or send a short email.
