Verified Hearing & Tinnitus Clinic
How Verified Hearing uses text messaging, and your choices about receiving it.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern the text message programme operated by Verified Hearing & Tinnitus Clinic ("Verified Hearing", "we", "us", or "our"). By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms. If you do not agree, please do not opt in, and reply STOP at any time to end messages.
Verified Hearing operates an SMS programme to support the care of our patients and to communicate with people who have asked to hear from us. Messages may include appointment scheduling and reminders, confirmations, follow-up care, results notifications, responses to your enquiries, service updates, and occasional information or offers relating to our audiology and tinnitus services. This programme covers our clinic at 126 Wigmore Street, London W1U 3RY.
We only send SMS messages to mobile numbers that have opted in. You may provide your consent by any of the following:
Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving care. Consent to marketing messages is separate from transactional messages relating to your appointments, and you can decline marketing while still receiving appointment communications, or opt out of both.
Key information
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity and preferences. Appointment related messages are sent as needed around your bookings. Where you have opted in to promotional messages, we aim to keep these limited and relevant.
Verified Hearing does not charge you to receive our text messages. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Any such charges are your responsibility. Please contact your mobile carrier for details of your plan.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a single confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that programme. If you want to receive messages again, you can opt back in by signing up as you did originally.
If you are experiencing any issues, reply with the keyword HELP for assistance, or reach us directly:
Our clinics are open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm.
Delivery of SMS messages depends on your mobile carrier's network and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not responsible for delays, failures in delivery, or errors in messages arising from network conditions outside our control.
We respect your privacy. The mobile number and any information you provide are used to operate this SMS programme and to support your care, in line with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued participation in the SMS programme after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
